When Steve Jobs phoned Adam Cheyer out of the blue and said he wanted to buy the company, Adam thanked him, told him they weren't interested, and left. (Apple did eventually acquire Siri. Adam's work now runs on more than two billion devices.)

Adam Cheyer is the co-creator of Siri and a five-time founder. He co-founded Siri (acquired by Apple), Viv Labs (acquired by Samsung), Sentient (acquired by Cognizant), and GamePlanner.ai (acquired by Airbnb), and he's a founding member of Change.org, now 500 million people across 197 countries. He holds 50 patents and has spent close to 40 years working in AI.
