Fresh event jobs (late June 2026)

A $270K events seat at PG&E, the SVP running Black Hat, and a remote director role you can do from anywhere.

The #EventProfs board posted its latest batch of 50 roles on June 18. I went through all of them and pulled the five I'd forward to a friend job-hunting in events right now.

I checked each of these myself: every one is director-level or above, with the actual salary band attached, and still open as I write this. The mix runs from a sports league to the team behind Black Hat, remote and in-office, both.

A reader passed this one along, and it's a fit for anyone in Chicago who wants hands-on gala work this fall.

🎟️ Freelance Event Coordinator @ Carol Fox & Associates (Chicago | On-Site) — Niki Morrison's team is staffing four nonprofit galas this fall, everything from guest registration and seating to running live auctions and paddle raises. Ongoing part-time work that ramps up in August and runs through mid-November, and two of the four are hiring right now. Send a resume and cover letter to [email protected] (they'll pass on anything without a cover letter). Learn more here →

📣 The Event Partner Marketplace is still taking founding partners

Last issue I mentioned I'm rebuilding my old event vendor directory as the Event Partner Marketplace: a curated directory of partners I trust across AV and production, venues, catering, event tech, and branding. It's free, it's not pay-to-play, and I'm reviewing every application myself so everyone who gets in is an established vendor you can hand a show to.

It opens to browse soon. Right now I'm still signing founding partners. If you run an agency, a venue, a supplier business, or your own freelance shop, get listed before it goes live. Apply here →
