Fresh event jobs (early July 2026)
A $300K events seat at Anthropic, the role I'm hiring for myself, and a fully remote director job you can do from anywhere.
The #EventProfs board refreshed its batch on July 2, and the US list alone runs past 60 open roles. I went through all of them and pulled the five I'd forward to a friend job-hunting in events right now. I checked each of these myself: every one is director-level or above with a real salary band attached, and still open as I write this.
🧑🏻💻 Jobs in the Industry
⚡ Marketing Events Lead, Brand @ Anthropic (San Francisco or New York | On-site) — Own brand events at the AI lab everyone's watching, which just posted a whole events team. Tied for the top band on the board at $276–300K. Apply here →
🔐 VP, Strategic Events, Experiences & Customer Marketing @ Okta (Hybrid) — The most senior seat on this week's list, owning events and customer marketing at the identity company. Also $276–300K. Apply here →
☁️ Director of Developer Events @ Cloudflare (Hybrid) — Build the events that get developers to actually adopt the product, not just show up. $226–250K. Apply here →
🎮 Director of Marketing, Minecraft Entertainment & Experiences @ Microsoft (Redmond, WA | Hybrid) — Take Minecraft into real-world events and experiences for one of the biggest games on the planet. $226–250K. Apply here →
🏡 Director of Events & Field Marketing @ G2 (US | Remote) — A fully remote director seat running events and field marketing at the software-review company buyers check before they buy. $176–200K. Apply here →
👋 One more, and this one's mine.
I'm making my first hire at Silicon Valley Speakers: a Content & Operations Lead to run the engine behind the business. You'd take over my AI content workflows (this newsletter, 5x-a-week LinkedIn, monthly webinars, and more video), own marketing and ops for the speaker agency, and help scale the consulting side. It's a contract, fully remote with no location requirement, about 40 hours a week, at a $5,000/month base plus an uncapped performance bonus (I estimate around $2,000/month on top).
I want someone who takes real ownership, comes from marketing, copywriting, or journalism, and already moves fast with AI tools.
Full writeup and how to apply here: the role, start to finish →. There's a short video application inside, and I'm honestly only reviewing the ones that go through it.
