A new roundtable format, a rooming list walkthrough, and a course with Julius

1. Two roundtables on June 11 — Off the Record

I'm bringing back AI roundtables for event professionals. It's called Off the Record, and it's a peer conversation about what event pros are actually doing with AI, not the deck-friendly version but the real one. Chatham House rules: nothing leaves the room, and nothing gets recorded.

60 minutes, up to 24 people per session, application-only.

You'll pick one of four circles (Sales & Marketing, Planning & Ops, Programming & Attendee Experience, or Communications), share what you've tried and what you're stuck on, and trade tactics with peers facing the same problems.

Two sessions on Thursday, June 11, so the time zones work:

2. New video — room block management with Claude Code

Every planner I talk to loses hours per event wrestling rooming lists, change requests, and hotel pickup reports. I recorded a walkthrough of how I'm doing it now with Claude Code: the same back-and-forth, minutes instead of evenings.

A real workflow with no slides and no theory. If you've ever opened a hotel pickup spreadsheet at 9 PM and groaned, this one's for you.

3. The 3-part Claude for Events course with Julius Solaris

Julius (Boldpush) and I have been building a 3-part course on using Claude for the actual day-to-day of event work. Beginner, intermediate, advanced. 4.5 hours across the three sessions, deeper than I can go in any single DMWL issue.
